Maiden, Mother & Crone Chalice

This Mother, Maiden and Crone chalice is made from resin. This chalice features three faces and phases of the goddess. Each face is separated by a Celtic knot work circle surrounding a green gem. The stem of the chalice features a knot embedded with 3 large green gems and the base features a pattern of lattice, triquetras and leaves.

This chalice has a removable cup for ease of cleaning. 

Mother, Maiden and the Crone Symbolism:
The Mother, Maiden and the crone represents the three life cycle stages of women and the goddess.

The Maiden:
A creative force she is seen within the waxing moon. She is the beginning and carries youthful enthusiasm, dreams, ideas and desires she is often depicted as a young woman but no matter what your age if you find yourself in a new relationship or developing new ideas you are at one with the maiden.

The Mother
The act of creation she is sensual, fertile and strong. The mother takes the ideas and dreams of the maiden and weaves them into reality, giving birth to something tangible. Represented by the full moon, she is about fulfillment and devotes her time and tenderness to her children, ideas or dreams.

The Crone
The crone is about transformation, she is wise and accepts that what was is no longer and as she moves from life she knows she will be re-born again as the maiden. She is represented by the waxing moon and she is about endings. The Crone reminds us to move on from things that no longer serve us so we might move onto a new path.

The triple moon symbol is also often used to represent the three stages of the goddess and the moon phases.
