Sweetgrass Braid (Heirochloe odorata) American 30cm
When used in smudging sweet grass is traditionally braided with four pieces which is said to represent the four directions. It is customary that once braided a sweet grass braid should be burned from the tip to the root. Burn sweet grass for purification, peace, harmony, before rituals and to call good spirits or beings.
