This mortar and pestle is hand carved out of mango wood and the mortar features engraved pentacles on the front and back. This mortar is approximately 8cm in diameter at the top and 12cm high. The pestle measures 16cm.
The mortar has been rustically carved and as such has a hand finished quality that is not to be considered a defect.
