Meet The Maker:
Isabell Shipard’s passion was herbs, and she loved to inspire and share the joys and wonders of natural herbs. For over 30 years, Isabell and her husband Derrick, lived on their picturesque farm on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia, and propagated, grew and sold their herbs locally, throughout Australia and internationally. Isabell was highly regarded as one of Australia’s most knowledgeable and sought after authorities on herbs. The Shipard's supplied herbs to chef Jamie Oliver and their farm was featured on numerous TV programs, including Gardening Australia, The Great South East and Totally Wild.
While the original Shiphard's farm has closed in 2021, Isabell's daughter and son-in-law continue her legacy from their property on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
Review from The Sacred Willow -
Isabell Shipard's knowledge of herbs and plants is truly incredible. This book is my go-to for herbal inspiration and has lived on my bookshelf for a number of years now. I highly recommend this book to anyone that has an interest in how you can grow and use herbs safely. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
