Colognes and waters have a long standing history of magickal use, particularly in Hoodoo, Voodoo and Santeria traditions. 

They are used for a desired outcome and can be worn on the body, as a candle dressing, in bath water, as a spray or in floor wash. 

Colognes and waters can also be used to cleanse and consecrate ritual tools.
